Here's What Nobody Else Will Tell You about Renting Lists...

Now, I am a lady with manners... and I've got a reputation to keep up... but I've got to tell you the truth here. So here it is.

Many people who sell mailing lists do not have your best interests in mind. They are more interested in renting you as large a list as possible than they are in making sure the list is targeted. Let me give you an example. One guy told me he had invested in some vending machines.

The company he bought the machines from also provided a mailing list and some postcards to help him place the machines. But here was the problem. The list was filled with businesses that would never allow a vending machine from an independent business to be placed on their property! There were major bookstores on the mailing list -- national chains who would not be in a position to place one vending machine at a single book store.

And there were public schools on the list as well. These schools already had exclusive contracts with major beverage companies like Coca-Cola! Anyway, the point I'm trying to make is that not all addresses on a mailing list are created equal. Just because you've got an address does not mean the person or business located there is a potential buyer.

And many folks who sell lists just don't care about this. They want to rent you the biggest list possible -- with the most addresses possible -- because they make more money that way. Same thing goes for some printers. The bigger the list they can sell you... the more direct mail they get paid to print. Do you see how this works?

Now, by telling you all of this, I may be shooting myself in the foot. Because I do earn a living by selling mailing lists. But here's the thing. I know something about you. If I get you a quality list the first time... one without all the junk addresses on it... your direct mailing has a much better chance of being profitable.

And if your mailing is profitable, you'll come back to rent more lists in the future.

That's why it's soooo important to me to get you quality, targeted lists. Because my success is linked directly to your success! The only way I can succeed for the long term is if I help you succeed.

Here are a few of the kinds of lists I (and my team) can help you find:

  • "New mover" lists -- Lists of people who've moved into a specific area within the last 12 months. Perfect for service-based businesses like CPAs, insurance agents, auto shops, hair salons, furniture stores, etc.
  • Geographically targeted lists -- People or businesses within certain ZIP codes. Can be further refined by age, gender, income, buying habits, recent purchases, etc.
  • Specialty lists and response files -- We have access to more than 40,000 specialty lists, including "hotline" lists (lists of people who've purchased certain products in the last 30 days), lists based on special interests, lists of magazine subscribers, etc.

Bottom line: We can get access to or compile just about any kind of direct mail list you could possibly want or need.
